Splicing / Rigging is a technique to ropes and rope by intertwining the individual Kardeele unbreakable, durable and non-detachable to connect. This method developed by British seafarers in the 16th century is also used in the repair of worn rope. The Takler, a crew duty aboard larger sailors, knows various types of splicing: eye splice, long splice, short splice, and end or back splice.
