Vespucci - Hand-rigged sailing rope / marine rope strap, 6 mm, blue-white / red-white
The unisex bracelet Vespucci * consists of 6 mm double layered sail rope with blue-white / red-white zigzag pattern which is closed by an Shackle made of stainless steel. The rope eyes are rigged in navy-blue and give the Contender its marine finish.

The Amerigo Vespucci is the (flag) sail training ship of the Italian Navy. It was named after the discoverer Amerigo Vespucci.
Home port of Amerigo Vespucci is La Spezia. It serves primarily the nautical training of the officer candidates of the Naval Academy Livorno. It is directly subordinate to the commander of the fleet.
The ship often participates in sailing ship parades and regattas. When the Amerigo Vespucci is in port, sightseeing tours are usually offered.
The Amerigo Vespucci is a full ship. The hull itself is made of steel (riveted), the sails made of linen. By the specification of the maximum size and crew number had to be built in the height. This is how the frigate form came into being. Their characteristics are the high freeboard, the aft gallery and the painted white wicket belts. It is little like the slimmer clippers and windjammers, the cargo sailors, but more like a warship of earlier centuries. In the superstructures are, among other facilities, numerous navigation instruments.
The ship has three decks that are above the waterline: cannon deck, foredeck and poop deck. It is the only sail training ship with three decks and yard rigging.
The hull with its three masts consists of steel ribs. The hull is painted black with two surrounding white stripes. These stripes indicate the two cannon decks of the ships that were the basis for the design. The ship's planks are made of teak, which is replaced every three years. The front and the rear are decorated with elaborate decorations. There is a life-sized figure head Vespuccis on the front. The rear gallery is accessible only via the Captain's Salon.

Find the right size
