Shining Silver Haze originates from Haze, Skunk, and Northern Lights
Since a couple of brothers started breeding Sativas from around the world in the 70s, cannabis smokers have been truly grateful for the existence of a strain called Haze. Originally, this was the culmination of years of breeding thousands of seeds from Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, and South India. Eventually, Haze genetics made their way to Holland for further crossing - thus forming the epitome of modern Sativa varieties.
After arriving in Holland, alongside the now classic Skunk varieties, a couple of breeders set out to find this super hybrid that would capture the sweet taste and high of a Haze, but have the short flowering time of an Indica. By combining Haze, Skunk, and Northern Lights genetics, one of these breeders ended up creating one of the first Haze classics: Super Silver Haze.

Since then, these early genetics have been distributed and crossed further. Royal Queen Seeds is proud to offer our own version - Shining Silver Haze - so that all Sativa lovers can enjoy it. In the grow room, it will reach around 100cm in height, which is very short for a Haze. Our cross will reach up to 200cm in the wild. This plant needs plenty of light to thrive and reach its full potential.
Above-average yield and short flowering time
A feminized Shining Silver Haze will yield around 600-650g outdoors and up to 650g/m² under a 600W lamp in the grow box. The flowering time is 9-11 weeks, which is really not bad for a Haze. There are very few Haze varieties that can produce this characteristic sweet taste and strong high in less than 10 weeks, but Shining Silver Haze is no ordinary Haze.
